I work in both the time synchronisation and digital signage industries and it never occured to me there was a place for the NTP server in digital signage. It does seem a little overkill to synchonise a signage system to UTC (coordinated Universal Time) via an atomic clock but the more advanced some of these digital signage campaigns are becmoming I can see the relevence – nice article thank you.
