ONELAN Partner Shortlisted for an InAVation 2015 Project Award

Lamasatech’s installation of ONELAN digital signage at DHL Bahrain for its Flight Departing Signage Solution has been shortlisted for an InAVation 2015 Project Award.

DHL Bahrain needed a more visual way of displaying the Flight Schedule times for DHL employees. The main purpose of the system is to visually display and manage all the DHL flights that depart from Bahrain Airport.

There are four hubs spread around the Middle East, with the current hub managing all the operations of the other major hubs. Each hub has over nine sorting zones to sort packages into upcoming flight activity.

DHL Bahrain could not find the required solution in the local market. LamasaTech, through its local partner in Bahrain, presented the perfect solution.

An intranet based software solution from LamasaTech was incorporated into ONELAN’s Net top box (NTB) players and publishers to provide a streamlined and easy to use time management system.

Staff members are now more efficient and aware of their pipeline during the sorting process. The solution has been running automatically for over 5 months with no human intervention, easing the load of nine staff members daily.
